THE SCHOOL OF COMPUTING SCIENCE & DIGITAL MEDIA FILM PRESENTED US WITH AN INTERESTING PROBLEM. HOW DOES ONE HIGHLIGHT THE EXCITEMENT AND ENERGY OF SOME OF THE UNIVERSITY'S MOST RAPIDLY EVOLVING AND DYNAMIC FIELDS OF STUDY WHEN MOST OF THE TEACHING, RESEARCH AND WORK HAPPENS ON A COMPUTER SCREEN?

The answer? By tapping into the energy, passion and enthusiasm of those students and staff at the cutting edge.

Alongside the team at RGU we carefully sculpted a suite of interview questions designed to extract inspirational, exciting responses and soundbites that could be knitted together in post to create what we call a cumulative narrative voice-over.

We paired the cumulative narrative with an array of dynamic animations, screen captures and up close and personal moving images of students, staff and tech in order to wholly immerse the viewer into the experience and energy of the film and the school.

With creative excellence, ambition and enthusiasm, the SNAP team developed an engaging and emotive film for our School of Computing Science and Digital Media. From start to finish, the team took the time to get to know us, the subject area and what we wanted to achieve, and were bursting with new ideas that would connect with the audience on an emotional and motivational level. The film has become a key tool in our marketing toolkit, and one that we can use across various platforms and channels to support our marketing strategies both in the UK and across the globe.
