Most Oil and Gas videos strive to compete on functional benefits; who has the newest this, or who’s just purchased the biggest that. So when we first teamed up with local agency, Hampton, to help execute a comprehensive, through the line brand awareness campaign for Petrofac Training, it was exciting to see that our client knew from the start that they had to do something different. Something imaginative and fresh to encapsulate their brand, leverage their legacy and market leading position, and engage prospective delegates on a deeper, emotional level.
The solution? To summon up the authenticity of a life in the O&G industry from the perspective of the delegates themselves.
In partnership with Hampton we produced a script that was informed by anecdotes and information gleaned from interviews with a variety of offshore and O&G workers to ensure we were creating an honest, accurate and relatable representation of life in O&G.
With a broad audience to speak to, this linear snapshot of a life in the O&G industry allowed us not only to engage a wider audience at different stages of their career but also allowed us to leverage how life's priorities change as we grow and develop and the importance this places on keeping yourself safe throughout.
